# Programmes that repeat on their own, and your Library beside every upload

**Give a programme or meal plan a repeat schedule so it starts again when it finishes, pick any Library file wherever the dashboard asks for an upload, sort the client list by any column, and frame blog images at 16:9.**

A shorter release this time, with two things coaches have asked for since the programme builder existed. A programme or meal plan can carry a repeat schedule, so a finished assignment starts again without you doing it by hand. And every place the dashboard takes a file now has a second door beside the upload button that opens your Library. Underneath those there is a sortable client list, a 16:9 frame on blog images, and a handful of fixes.

## Programmes and meal plans that start again on their own

A 4-week programme ended after four weeks. If the client was carrying on, you assigned it again from the date it stopped, and did the same for their meal plan. Both builders now have a Repeat setting next to Sync changes. It offers the same schedules a calendar item does: daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or a custom rule with its own days and an end, either after a set number of cycles or on a date. Leave it at Never and the programme runs once, exactly as before.

Each new cycle runs the full programme from Week 1. It starts on the first date matching the schedule after the previous cycle ends, so cycles never overlap. Weekly on a 4-week programme restarts the day after it finishes. Weekly on Mondays waits for the first Monday after. Monthly waits for the same day of the month the first cycle began on. The hint under the setting spells this out before you save, so you can predict the calendar before assigning.

The whole run is written to the client's calendar at assignment. Nothing extends it later, so the assignment preview tells you what you are about to lay down, for example "Repeats · 3 cycles · last ends Sun 7 Feb". An open-ended repeat is laid down a year ahead, and 52 cycles is the ceiling. When you want more, assign again.

Sync changes covers every cycle. Edit the programme and every future week updates. Change the repeat rule on a synced programme and later cycles are added or dropped, while anything the client has already logged stays on their calendar, the same way [**removing a programme**](https://boostfitness.io/blog/habit-metrics-calendar-sync-coach-emails) already keeps logged days. A repeating meal plan follows the same rules, including the [**one-macro-per-day rule**](https://boostfitness.io/blog/ready-made-meal-plans-food-diary): a cycle landing on a day that already carries targets rewrites that day in place. Duplicating a programme copies its repeat rule with it.

## Choose from your Library wherever you upload

Every upload in the dashboard has a second door now: Choose from library. The website logo, favicon and section images, blog featured images, recipe and exercise images, course covers and download files, a client's files, and chat attachments all offer it, either as a button beside the upload option or in the menu on an image tile. Uploading from your device works exactly as it did.

The picker lists only the files that spot can take, so a course .pptx is never offered to an image field. It has a search box, a type filter, a rows or grid view, and your [**Library folders**](https://boostfitness.io/blog/live-workout-sessions-chat-media) as bands. A file too large for the spot is greyed out with the reason rather than hidden, because "where did my file go" is a question we have answered too many times. The Upload tab inside the picker files a new document in your Library first, then picks it, so you are never uploading the same PDF twice.

Spots with a fixed shape crop inside the picker. The website logo and favicon, a section image, a course cover or a recipe image go straight from Choose into a crop step with the ratio that spot needs, and Apply crop hands the framed image back. Back keeps your pick and your half-made crop if you want to look at the list again. An image chosen this way is copied into the spot and sized for it; your Library keeps the original untouched.

Chat is the one place a file sends without filing anywhere, and it stays that way. A file sent with the paperclip files nothing by default. Once it has uploaded, the staged attachment offers Also add to my library, which files the original with one press and can be undone from the toast. It is absent for anything the Library would refuse, such as video or a file over 100 MB.

## Blog images framed at 16:9

Visitors only ever see a featured image at 16:9. The post page, the blog card and the share image all use that shape, and until now the composer stored whatever you uploaded and cut it down the middle, which is how a portrait photo loses the top of someone's head. Both doors now frame the image at 16:9 when you pick it, from your device or from your Library, and the composer's own preview shows it as framed. Adjust on the image re-frames it later from the original, without re-uploading.

The composer itself is a page of its own rather than a full-screen takeover, so the dashboard menu stays beside your post while you write. Leaving with unsaved edits asks first, whichever way you leave.

## On your side

The Any day lane on a client's calendar, and the Any day section in the client workspace, have their own plus menu. A workout or habit added there is flexible from the start, so you no longer date it on a weekday and then drag it into the lane.

Every column on the clients list sorts: Client, Email, Type, Status, Compliance, Subscription, Joined, Next check-in and Last active. Click once for ascending and again to flip. Clients with no value sort last in both directions, so ascending on [**Compliance**](https://boostfitness.io/blog/habit-metrics-calendar-sync-coach-emails) puts your least compliant clients at the top without a client who was never given a programme pretending to be one of them. The search box on the same page now matches email addresses, as its label always claimed.

A client's home screen tints each row with the colour you gave the item. A habit you saved as blue is blue for them too, and a coloured note is no longer slate like every other note. Items without a colour keep their type's tint, so the day-strip dots still mean what they did.

In the image cropper, all four corners of the frame are handles. Only the top right one was before, and the other three looked identical.

## Fixes and polish

- Two Courses sections on one page each show their own picks. The second used to mirror the first whatever you selected.
- Saving a Courses section updates the builder preview straight away instead of after a reload.
- A client's name can no longer be saved as spaces only, which left a row with nothing to click on. Any row that already had one is clickable again.
- An error some clients hit when opening their food diary on a phone is fixed.

## Key takeaways

- **Programmes and meal plans repeat.** A Repeat setting on both builders lays every cycle down at assignment, up to a year ahead or 52 cycles, and Sync changes reaches all of them.
- **Your Library is one click from every upload.** Choose from library sits beside device upload across the dashboard, lists only what fits the spot, and crops inside the picker where the spot has a shape.
- **The client list sorts and searches properly.** Every column sorts with missing values last, and search matches email.
- **Blog images are framed once.** 16:9 at pick time, with Adjust to re-frame from the original.
