# Take paid 1-to-1 bookings, and an Analytics page that tells you who needs you

**Clients can now pick a time and pay for a 1-to-1 session straight from your website. Analytics opens on the clients who need you this week, scores every client's week, and shows how the business is doing. Clients also get a new nutrition page and four insight cards on their home screen.**

Two big ones this time. Your clients can book and pay for a 1-to-1 session on your website, at a time you've said you're free, without a single message back and forth. And Analytics now opens on the clients who need you this week, then tells you how the business is doing. Your clients get a new-look nutrition page and four insight cards on their home screen.

## Take bookings on your 1-to-1 courses

Open any 1-to-1 course, online or in person, and go to the Bookings tab. Turn on Let clients book sessions and add your session options, each with a name, a length and a price. A course can have up to 10, from 5 minutes to 8 hours, so a 30-minute check-in call and a 60-minute PT session can sit side by side. Leave the price empty and the session is free.

Your hours live in one place, Account > Configuration > Bookings. Set the days and times you work, the gap you want between sessions, how much notice you need and how far ahead people can book. Out of the box that's 12 hours' notice and 4 weeks ahead. Add days off and nobody can book them. A course can have its own hours if it needs them, and anything you don't change follows your defaults. Bookings on one course block that time on all of them, so you can't be double-booked.

On your website the course shows a Book a session button. Anyone can use it, signed in or not. They pick a session, a day and a time, and add their details. A free session is confirmed there and then. A paid one holds the slot while they pay by card through Stripe, straight into your own account, as with your [**courses**](https://boostfitness.io/blog/sell-and-assign-courses-to-clients). Slots are shown in your time zone, so check it's right under Account > Configuration > Localization first.

When a booking comes in you get an email and a notification, the booker gets a confirmation, and they're added to your clients if they weren't already. The session appears in the What's on rail on your Clients page and on their calendar, with its time. In your client's app it sits at the top of that day. It's also in both [**calendar feeds**](https://boostfitness.io/blog/habit-metrics-calendar-sync-coach-emails), so it lands in your phone's calendar too.

Need to cancel? Open the booking and choose Cancel booking. A paid booking is refunded in full first, then the booker gets an email and their calendar is cleared. Clients can't move or cancel a booking themselves yet. For now they reply to their confirmation email, and that reply comes to you.

Bookings come with every plan from Basic up, including the trial. Paid sessions need Stripe connected.

## Analytics that starts with who needs you

Analytics has been rebuilt around two questions: which clients need me this week, and how is the business doing.

**Overview.** The page now opens on Needs you, four cards that each list the clients behind them:

- **Gone quiet**: no login and nothing logged for 7 days or more.
- **Off track**: under 40% of their scheduled workouts done over the last 30 days.
- **Missed check-ins**: two or more check-ins missed in the last 14 days.
- **Plan running out**: nothing scheduled for the next 7 days.

These use the same rules as [**client automations**](https://boostfitness.io/blog/automated-client-messages-faster-app), so a card always matches the clients an automation would pick. Under them you'll find an adherence trend and your client list. Where there isn't enough data yet, a section says what it would show and how to get there.

**Clients.** Every client gets a health score out of 100 for the period, made from training, habits, nutrition and check-ins. A part they have nothing scheduled for is left out, so a client without a meal plan isn't marked down for it. Anyone whose score falls 8 points or more is flagged as Dropping. A Results board lists new personal bests, weight changes and goals hit, with an Ask for a testimonial button beside each one. Health scores and Results are on Plus. Pro adds retention by the month clients joined, and programme performance, which shows the week of a programme where clients tend to drop off.

**Business.** From Plus up, revenue is now course sales and client payments, net of refunds, all in your own currency. Pro adds monthly recurring revenue, churn, lifetime value, a three-month estimate, a funnel from ad spend to active clients, and Revenue at risk: paying clients who've gone quiet, slipped or set their subscription to cancel, ordered by what they're worth to you each month.

**3 things to do this week.** On Pro, the Overview also has a weekly brief: up to three things worth doing this week, each with a link straight to the client. A new one is ready each week. Client names, notes and messages never go to the AI. It only sees numbers, and Boost puts the first names back in afterwards.

## A new nutrition page for your clients

The Nutrition page in your clients' app has been redrawn. The week runs across the top with arrows either side, today's date is circled, and a thin bar under each day shows how close they got to target. Below it, calories sit in a ring that says "of 2,100 kcal" in the middle and changes colour with the day: green within 20% of target either way, amber a little further out, red beyond that. Protein, carbs and fat each show eaten against target in grams, with a bar. The check-ins, your meals and the food diary underneath work as before.

## Four insight cards on your clients' home screen

Your clients' home screen now has an Insights section under the day's plan, with four cards: Weight trend, Goal, Workouts and Food logging. Weight trend is their smoothed weight with this week's change, and it matches the number on their [**Progress page**](https://boostfitness.io/blog/dark-mode-adaptive-calories-client-meal-plans). Workouts counts every workout they finished, yours and their own, over the last four weeks. Each card opens the page behind it, and an empty one tells them what to do first, like Log weigh-in or Set a goal.

Clients with more than one goal can choose which one the Goal card shows. They open the goal's menu on their Progress page and choose Show on home.

## In your clients' app

- **A ruler for body stats.** Logging a stat on a phone now has a ruler under the number. Slide it, type, or use the plus and minus, whichever is quicker.
- **Black ticks for done sets.** Completed sets in the workout logger now get a solid black tick, so it's easy to see where they are mid-session.
- **Codes instead of links.** Every "check your email" screen now takes the code from the email, typed into six boxes, so your clients (and you) can read the email on a phone and sign in on a laptop.

## On your side

- **Continue with Apple.** You can sign in to Boost, or create your account, with your Apple ID.
- **Reorder meals in a day.** In the meal-plan builder, drag a meal by its grip to move it, items and supplements together. It works on a phone too, and clients see the meals in the order you saved.
- **Any day workouts show when they're done.** On a client's calendar, a finished Any day workout now also appears on the day they did it, marked Done.
- **Change your time zone.** You can now change it under Account > Configuration > Localization. If yours still reads UTC, Boost asks whether that's right.

## Fixes and polish

- A client's chat message now moves the conversation to the top of your list and updates its preview. Only your own messages used to.
- Analytics stops suggesting Create a course once you have a course live.
- If a reset email hasn't arrived, the page now tells you to wait 60 seconds before tapping Send a new code. Asking sooner never worked.
- If signing in with Apple or Facebook doesn't finish, the login page now says so.

## Coming soon: Boost on iPhone

We're building a Boost app for iPhone. Your clients will be able to log their workouts and food, and message you, from an app on their phone. Watch this space.

## Key takeaways

- **Bookings that pay you.** Clients pick a time from your hours and pay for 1-to-1 sessions on your website, and the booking lands on your calendar and theirs.
- **Analytics starts with people.** Needs you lists the clients who've gone quiet, slipped, missed check-ins or are running out of plan.
- **Know the business.** Revenue net of refunds, plus on Pro MRR, churn, lifetime value and the paying clients you might lose.
- **New screens for clients.** A new nutrition page with a calorie ring, and four insight cards on their home screen.

## **Dark mode, calorie targets that adjust themselves, and meal plans your clients build**

Your dashboard and your clients' app now have a dark mode. Clients can set a calorie goal that re-checks itself every week, build their own meal plans and send them to you, and you can work calories out per client instead of per plan.
