Your clients' app, rebuilt: self-led training, personal records and anytime workouts

This one took a while, and it shows. We have rebuilt the app your clients use from end to end: new navigation, new training tools, and a lot more they can do for themselves without ever touching what you prescribed.

A new app, five tabs

The client app now runs on five tabs: Today, Train, Nutrition, Progress and Chat, with account bits tucked into a profile menu where they belong. Today leads with the day's plan. Progress has been rebuilt around adherence, consistency and metric tiles, each opening into its own detail view. There is a proper Help & Support centre.

Two things you notice within a minute of using it. Screens load once instead of flickering through loading states. And a workout in progress follows your client around as a resume bar on every tab, so a session survives a wander into the food diary.

One small but telling change: a finished workout is now a record, not an editor. It shows what was actually lifted and nothing else.

Clients can train on their own

The Train tab holds your plan, and now their own training beside it. Clients can build routines of their own, file them into folders, start an empty session on a rest day, and log it all in a full-screen logger. Their history adds up in front of them: workouts done, sets, volume, and the ability to look back at any session.

Their sessions are kept apart from your programming and marked as theirs, so your plan never changes underneath you. This is on by default, because a client who squeezes in an extra session on holiday should not need permission to log it. If you run a stricter programme, you can switch it off for a client, or for everyone, in the same permissions list as workout editing.

Personal records, tracked automatically

Every exercise now carries four records per client: heaviest weight, best single-set volume, estimated one-rep max, and most reps in a set. They bank themselves when a workout is saved, and a finished session shows how many records it broke.

Your clients get the little jolt of a new squat PR without either of you keeping a spreadsheet, and you get an honest picture of where their strength is moving.

Anytime workouts

Some sessions should not live on a date. You can now assign a saved workout to a client, or a whole group, with no day attached. It sits on their Train tab under "Anytime from you", and they start it whenever it fits their week.

The assignment follows your saved workout rather than copying it, so if you improve the workout later, the next start uses the new version.

Nutrition, more self-serve

Clients can now set standing calorie and macro targets of their own. These only apply on days where you prescribed nothing, and your targets always win on days you did, so it fills the gaps in your programming rather than overriding it.

Recipes get a full screen of their own with a step-by-step cooking guide, and supplements now live in the food library alongside everything else instead of a separate corner.

Forms can ask for stats and photos

Body stats and progress photos are now question blocks you can drop into any form, the same way check-ins learned to recently. A consultation form can collect a starting weight and starting photos, and the answers land in the client's progress history where both of you can see them.

On your side

  • The client workspace gains a Nutrition panel: see the meal plans a client is on and unassign one without leaving the page.
  • Website builder: testimonial ratings are picked with stars, section copy takes simple text formatting, course cards link to their landing pages, your team members can be shown publicly, and menu links scroll smoothly instead of jumping.
  • The Promote ad builder now takes still images as ad creatives, not just video.

Fixes and polish

  • Notifications on a phone now open in a proper drawer instead of an overflowing panel.
  • An empty session a client starts and never touches quietly discards itself instead of littering their history.
  • The exercise picker's filters now run against the whole library, so filtering finds everything, not just what had loaded.

Key takeaways

  • The client app is rebuilt: five tabs, faster screens, a resume bar for in-progress workouts, and completed sessions that read as records.
  • Clients can build and log their own training, kept separate from your plan, with an off switch per client if you want one.
  • Personal records track themselves: heaviest weight, best set volume, estimated 1RM and max reps, per exercise.
  • Anytime workouts let you assign sessions without dates, and clients can fill their own macro targets on days you leave open.
