![Class packages, files in your programmes and a clearer Progress page](https://boostfitness.io/_vercel/image?url=%2Fblog%2Fclass-packages-programme-files-progress.png&w=1536&q=80)

You can now sell group classes in bundles, like 10 classes for £75, straight from your booking page. You can also drop files and links into a programme or onto a client's calendar, so the right PDF or video turns up on the right day. Your clients get a Progress page that's much quicker to read, recipes of their own, and a workout logger that suggests what to lift next.

## Sell class packages

Group classes got [**bookings and a waitlist**](https://boostfitness.io/blog/group-classes-instalments-signed-contracts) last time. Now you can sell them in bundles. Open a group course in Website > Courses, go to its Content tab and click + Package. Give it a name like Gold, a price, and a number of classes from 1 to 100, or Unlimited. Choose how long it lasts: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, or never. Then tick what the package gets: class times, programmes, plans, habits, groups, files and links. A course can have up to 10 packages, and you can put them in the order you want clients to see.

Clients buy a package on your booking page, and the money goes to your Stripe account. When they book a class they tap Use 1 of your classes, so nothing goes through checkout. Cancelling before the class starts puts the class back. Their Today screen shows what's left, like 6 classes left · Silver · use by 7 Jan. If a client holds two packages, the one that ends soonest is used first.

To stop eight classes going in one week, set Classes a week to Up to 2, or whatever suits you. A week runs Monday to Sunday, and once it's full they can still pay for an extra class. Clients who already have the package keep the limit it had when they got it.

Packages can also renew every month. Set How they pay to Every month, and clients get a fresh set of classes with each payment, like 8 classes a month for £60 a month. Unused classes don't roll over. Clients can stop renewing from their Today screen, and so can you from their profile.

On a client's profile, under Training > Courses, you can add or remove classes, change the end date and see the history. If they paid you another way, give them a package with Give access and nothing is charged. No Stripe yet? You can still make packages and give them out. Connect Stripe when you want to sell them.

## Files and links in your programmes

Last time your library started to [**hold links as well as files**](https://boostfitness.io/blog/group-classes-instalments-signed-contracts). Now you can put any of them into a programme. In the programme builder, open the Resources tab in the library rail and drag a file or link onto a day, or onto a week's Any day slot. You can also use the day's + menu and choose Resource.

The same works on one client's calendar: click + on a day and choose Resource under Read.

Your client sees it on their Today screen with an Open button on the day it's due. It also stays in their Library under From your programme, so they can find it again later. There's nothing to tick, so a resource never counts as missed and never touches their streaks.

## A Progress page that's quicker to read

Your clients' Progress page used to run to about six phone screens. It now opens on an Overview: their goals first, then one tile per topic, then their progress photos. Tabs for Training, Body, Food and Goals sit behind it, each opening on a chart of the numbers people check most, with small cards for the rest. Every card opens a page with the full detail.

Training has a muscle map, a body shaded by sets per week, showing the muscles they've worked most and the ones they've missed. A new Exercise trends page lists every exercise they've done, with strength, volume, reps and sets week by week. Tapping any exercise name, in the logger or anywhere else, opens a drawer with its trend, its best lifts and how to do it.

Goals now work the way you'd [**explain them to a client**](https://boostfitness.io/blog/goals-client-workspace). A goal is the finish line, and habits are the things they repeat to get there. Each goal lists the habits that help it. On a client's page you can link a habit to a goal you set, and when you assign a habit you can say which goal it helps with.

## Recipes your clients build themselves

Clients can now save their own recipes. They can build one from what they're logging, from a meal they've already logged, or from scratch, and add a photo of the finished dish. If it's written down somewhere, they can snap a photo of the recipe, paste the text or drop in a link, and Boost fills in the ingredients. Anything it can't match is set aside for them to find.

Recipes then show in their quick add as Your recipes. When they log one, the foods inside it can be changed for that meal without touching the saved recipe. They can also add their own recipes to their meal plan.

## In your clients' app

- **Next targets.** The logger suggests what to lift today from their last two sessions, a bit more weight or one more rep, and a chip says why. It's on to start with for workouts they build themselves.
- **Workout import.** Import on their Workout history page reads an export from Strong, Hevy or FitNotes and adds their past workouts, with their personal records.
- **Missed day reasons.** Sick, Injured, Away or Other, with a note, for up to 14 days, either afterwards or ahead with Can't make it. You see the reason in their Activity, and "Away until Fri 24 Oct" in This week.
- **Rating effort is a setting.** It starts off, so a tick just marks the set done. If you want Easy, Ideal and Max ratings from a client, ask them to turn on Rate effort in Workout settings at the foot of a workout.
- **Add set carries the lift.** A new set starts with the weight and reps from the one above it, and dumbbell weights read "25 kg each".
- **Log to the day on screen.** The + logs onto whichever day they're looking at, and the time chip lets them pick when.
- **Name their own meals.** A + Meal chip in the food logger adds Dinner when they've only logged breakfast, or a meal they name themselves.
- **Find exercises by muscle group.** Filtering the exercise list by Chest now finds every chest exercise, whatever muscle name it was tagged with.
- **Two decimals on weights,** so 8.75 kg stays 8.75 kg.
- **Prefer not to say.** The sex question now has this answer, with calorie maths and body-fat pictures to match.

## On your side

- **Next targets in your workouts.** Turn them on for your workouts in Account > Configuration > Workouts, or for one workout in the builder's Workout settings. Ticked rep ranges is there too, so a tick on an 8-10 set can log 10 instead of 8.
- **AMRAP as a rep type.** In the workout builder, pick AMRAP (as many reps as possible) beside Reps, Rep Range and Time. Clients see AMRAP as the target and type in the reps they got.
- **Hidden courses and short links.** A course's Status can be Active, Link only or Draft. Link only keeps it off your website and Google but it still opens from its link. Give a course a short code, like /courses/strong, and copy its link from the courses table.
- **Exact portions.** Type any amount in the meal plan builder, so 37 g of peanut butter is 37 g.
- **Meal plans over daily targets.** Assigning a meal plan over days with repeating targets now uses the plan for those days, and tells you how many days it took.
- **Share library links in chat.** The paperclip's From library now lists your links as well as your files.
- **35 new exercises.** Machines, Smith machine, cables, cardio machines, suspension trainers, and some yoga, Pilates and boxing moves.
- **Account settings save as you change them.** General, Security and Configuration now have the same tidy rows as your clients' settings.
- **Calmer page colours.** Website > Look & feel > Page colour swaps six bright colours for White, Off-white, Sand, Light grey, Charcoal and Black. Your footer now follows the page colour too.
- **Courses three to a row.** With more than three courses, your website's courses section wraps at three cards a row on a laptop. Before, five courses meant five squashed cards.

## Fixes and polish

- A check-in a client has sent now counts as checked in straight away, and shows Needs review until you complete it.
- A client's page shows the real price of the course they pay for, not £0 a month.
- Changing a nutrition day's targets and its repeat together now keeps the new targets on every day.
- Repeat every 12 weeks now says what it does, and points you to Ends for the length of a block.
- Phones no longer zoom your clients' app in when they tap a box.
- The Custom domain panel now keeps the www record on screen until it works, so a domain no longer reads Ready while www is missing.
- A custom domain on an unpublished website now says Website not found. It used to show the Boost homepage. Your clients can still sign in.

## Key takeaways

- **Class packages.** Bundles of classes clients buy on your booking page and use as they book, with a weekly limit or monthly renewal if you want them.
- **Resources in programmes.** Files and links on a programme day or a client's calendar, kept in their Library.
- **A clearer Progress page.** An overview, topic tabs, a muscle map and goals with their habits.
- **Recipes and next targets.** Clients save their own recipes, and the logger suggests what to lift next.
